Name: Robert Glor | Title: Vice President
Years in CRE: 5 | Years with M&A: 2 | Nickname: Rob
Why M&A?: While other firms have been bought, sold, or transitioned into larger corporations, McCall & Almy has remained a privately owned company and continues to be a staple of the Boston real estate community. The people at McCall and Almy truly work as a team, and their model offers me the opportunity to solely focus my time on servicing my clients’ needs.
Organizations: Boys and Girls Club, Charity Golf Club at Belmont Hill
Alma mater: Tufts University
Coming from one of the larger Global real estate firms, where he represented both Tenants and Landlords, Rob quickly realized the inherent conflicts as well as gained knowledge of landlords from small local groups to large institutional owners look at their properties and how they structure deals. Prior to his role there, Rob helped companies ranging from startups to large established corporations with their interior fit-out and space planning needs. Through this, he gained invaluable knowledge and insight into how groups within each company, such as Human Resources and Finance, view space both from a physical standpoint as well as fiscally. Rob truly enjoys the fact that he works with companies that not only range in size, but also cover different industries. It has enabled him to get creative when helping to structure deals. Grateful for his Boston roots, Rob, his wife, Camille, and dog, Pepe, live in the Boston area and love traveling or going out on the water.
Rob’s been with us from our start, helping us find the best options as we’ve grown. His industry knowledge, professionalism and energy have been key to finding us optimal space, on time and under budget.”
