Name: Garrett Larivee | Title: Executive Vice President
Years in CRE: 13 | Years with M&A: 11
Best M&A memory: As much as I thought I knew what McCall & Almy was all about during my first few months here, it was at the first holiday party that it really sunk in. These people really care about each other and that sense of community is shown in our work every day.
Awards: 2007 CBA Rookie of the Year
Alma mater: College of William & Mary
With his dry sense of humor and ability to keep a straight face, Garrett is the most likely culprit in the office of pulling the practical joke. That straight face also pays off when negotiating on our clients’ behalf. Our clients will tell you he has a real knack for being an advisor who takes the time to understand their needs and then negotiate hard for the outcome they want. The ability to meet and connect with so many different types of people is something that Garrett loves about his job, and he lives for the first meeting. Garrett attended St. John’s Prep in Danvers and the College of William & Mary in Virginia before moving back to the Boston area. He now lives in Wayland with his wife and two daughters. When he’s not at the office, or in traffic on the Pike, or at home, Garrett would like to be at the golf course.
Garrett was more than just a real estate advisor as he guided us expertly through the process of finding new office space. On top of the sound, comprehensive advice he provided, he was patient, responsive, trustworthy and a pleasure to work with – surpassing all expectations!”
