To accommodate the rapid growth along with the acquisition possibilities, Cloudant’s next lease needed flexibility. Their increased headcount forced them to move out of their existing space prior to its expiration date, but through tough negotiations we got them out of their existing lease and avoided having to pay rent in both places. As a startup with discrete cash flow and resources, this amounted to a significant savings.
